OFVGA has designed a very useful COVID-19 workplace screening app, available through HUB Connect. COVID-19 screening of workers (in accordance with local health unit direction) is a requirement for employers under the Reopening Ontario Act, and this app is intended to make it easier for growers to fulfill this requirement. It has been verified and approved by the Windsor Essex County Health Unit.
The app can replace paper-based screening and record-keeping for growers who wish to use it. In addition to WECHU, this has been vetted and approved in the Niagara and Norfolk-Haldimand region. Feel free to circulate this to your growers as you see fit. This app is still accessible if you report to a health unit not mentioned.
