Switch Health has increased its onsite testing support capacity, where nursing teams will visit the quarantine location, conduct swabbing on Day 8 and transport the collected samples directly to Medical Laboratories of Windsor for processing. TFW employers are encouraged to use the following methods for booking appointments and otherwise communicating with Switch Health.
For booking Mobile Rapid Testing Units (NEW!):

As of April 23, 2021 the Day 10 test has transitioned to a Day 8 test. Bookings can be arranged using the following link:

Samples can be brought to a designated drop box at 197 Talbot Street W. in Leamington (Leamington and Area Family health Team). Purolator can also be utilized Monday through Friday.
Other Testing Options:
Switch has also officially onboarded Medical Laboratories of Windsor to process TFW samples collected in Ontario – it is hopeful this additional laboratory capacity will reduce challenges with the overall process.
Updated April 26th, 2021:
As of April 23, 2021, workers arriving in Canada will move to a day-8 test, which will help identify positive cases and allow the sequencing of variants of concern sooner. This will also help to ensure results are received by the end of the 14-day quarantine period. For those who arrive in Canada before April 23, 2021, the test will remain on day-10.
Please also find attached updated guidance from Switch Health to ensure workers and employers can schedule and complete appointments with ease.
Switch Health will have additional staff to help meet the demand of the temporary increase in appointments that this adjustment will create. IF YOU REQUIRE ASSISTANCE TO ADMINSTER YOUR TEST, PLEASE CONTACT RICHARD AT LEE@OGVG.COM. A mobile rapid testing unit (MRTU) may be able to assist in administering your day-8 test.
